CompTIA launched DS0-001 on July 18, 2023. Its published certification information estimates retirement during 2026, but a specific retirement date has not been confirmed.
Candidates should verify that DS0-001 remains available before purchasing this course or an examination voucher. Check the official CompTIA DataSys+ certification page and confirm that DS0-001 is available in the Pearson VUE scheduling system.

About the DS0-001 Exam
The CompTIA DataSys+ DS0-001 exam contains a maximum of 90 questions and allows 90 minutes for completion. Candidates may encounter single-response questions, multiple-response questions and performance-based questions.
CompTIA recommends two to three years of experience in a database administrator role. There are no formal certification prerequisites, but practical experience with databases, SQL, operating systems, networking and security is strongly beneficial.

Candidates have approximately one minute per question when the maximum number of questions is presented. However, performance-based questions may require additional time.
